CA 101: A Window into Bible Times – An Overview of the Manners and Customs of the Hebrew People and Their Neighbors

Prerequisite:    NoneSCH:    3

Tuition (when taken for credit):    $75.00
(DVD/Workbook Combo - for Self-Study: $55.00)

Modern man is thousands of years removed from the religious rituals, rich traditions, history, linguistics, geography, and lifestyle of the biblical heroes and villains, who fill the pages of the greatest book ever penned by man. For this reason, it is critical to bridge the cultural gap and time zone that exists between our present world and that of the ancients. Biblical archaeology and cultural anthropology help to narrow the chasm that has deepened through the ages. The eight session course, “A Window into Bible Times,” will equip the student with basic background of the manners and customs of the biblical era, allowing for deeper study of God’s Word through numerous projects, as well as required and recommended reading and viewing.
