The purpose of this Bible study is to magnify the holiness of God and to discuss both the Hebraic and Christian perspectives of the sacrificial system of the Old Testament. The objective is to make the ancient rituals comprehensible and relatable to contemporary believers. Such a study is necessary because of the thousands of years that separate us historically and the thousands of miles that separate us geographically from the ancient text, as well as the religious rituals and cultural nuances of Bible times that are equally foreign to modern man.

The law condemned the sinner, but the sacred Tabernacle and Temple rituals brought hope, mercy, relief, and joy to the children of God through prophetic symbolism, parabolic imagery, and the eventual fulfillment of the sacrificial offerings. The sacred record of archaic laws has been faithfully preserved through the ages for a holy purpose…to convince all men of their need for the Savior. Man could not possibly obey all of the 613 laws that God instituted. In addition, every Old Testament sacrifice pointed prophetically to Yeshua’s sacrificial death and the salvation it continues to offer to all repentant sinners.

Learn why many Christians, pastors included, have failed to study and teach the Book of Leviticus. By contrast, you will also learn why Leviticus is the first book of the Bible that devout Jews teach their toddlers. It is this author’s prayer that the reader will be challenged to deeper study and appreciation of the ancient Scriptures as discussed in Yeshua in Leviticus? Yes, He Is There!
