Dr. Anne Davis is professor of Biblical Studies at Trinity Southwest University and a teacher at BibleInteract, Inc. Her ongoing research has led her to the Hebraic nature of the New Testament, the intimate connection between the two testaments, and ancient methodology used by the Apostle Paul and other New Testament authors. She writes, โThe passion of my life is searching the Scriptures for the infinite nature of God. I am always pursuing some biblical topic that catches my curiosity, like the little monkey Curious George. The resulting research invariably shapes my college lectures and ultimately leads to publication.โ Dr. Davis lives in Los Alamos, New Mexico, with her husband, Hal. One of the most penetrating methods of Bible study is known as a โword study,โ which is based on a concept that we can see in the Holy Writings. The purpose of a word study is to penetrate a deeper understanding than what is generated by a literal meaning. God placed both a literal meaning and a depth of understanding in His Holy Writings. This booklet offers a concise yet thorough guide on how to conduct a word study and uncover a depth of understanding for yourself.
