Part 1

Dr. Anne Davis uses ancient Hebraic methods of uncovering the depth of meaning in Scripture, and explains how you can use these methods also. This is part I in a 4-part series on the Book of Genesis.

Part 2

This workbook is part of an intermediate course that assumes that you are already familiar with the the “First Century Methods of Searching the Scriptures” taught by Dr. Anne Davis, and that you know the Genesis narrative. You may or may not have studied some of the interpretations of others, such as Christian theology or the work of the Jewish sages. However, this course not only takes you deeper in your understanding but also teaches you how you can learn how to penetrate a depth of meaning. This program is designed either for group study or for individual work with a study partner in order to facilitate dialogue and discussion. Genesis, Part 2 workbook covers Genesis 12-24 and is the second of an extensive four-part study of Genesis.

Part 3

This is Part 3 of “The Book of Genesis,” a series in which Dr. Davis uses methods that she teaches in a course she calls, β€œFirst Century Methods of Searching the Scriptures: Recovering Ancient Methods of Bible Study.” She has applied these ancient methods to her work on the Book of Genesis. This is an intermediate course that assumes that you are already familiar with these methods and that you know the Genesis narrative. You may or may not have studied some of the interpretations of others, such as Christian theology or the work of the Jewish sages. However, this course not only takes you deeper in your understanding but also teaches you how you can learn how to penetrate a depth of meaning.
